Fatum SG

very often, those discount rate calling cards are actually borne through the internet ... VOIP in other words ... something many don't know ...

so during times of peak internet activity, you'd find that you can't get through, cos the bandwidth between the caller and the callee is not sufficient to maintain a minimium level of service ...

that's also why sometimes you get cut off half way and have to dial again ... Very Happy

kopiosatu SG

so, i hear the busy tone... means the company line is busy?
looks like i have to go 7-11 and buy the expensive rate singtel card Mad

Fatum SG

probably ... Laughing

even if it's not VOIP, those discount card operations often just buy up slack bandwidth from those landline telco operators, and there are too many people calling thailand right now perhaps ...

just wait a little while lah ...

av98m SG

this is common no matter where you work, I think we all can identify with that Neutral
